Still rolling along..
Still rolling along..
The completion of the liners somewhat is the end of small/medium fiberglass parts. Next week Todd’s Deck is to be started.
Two liners. The near one is for Dart #4. Its been de-molded. All it needs is trimming to be ready for installation. The area with the hole is “out of the part” and will be all trimmed away in the finished part. The liner for Dart #5 is still sitting on the mold. We may leave it there to save space in the shop.
Tim/Tom have been cleaning up the shop preparing for starting the deck. The deck is scheduled to be gel coated tuesday afternoon.
Fingers crossed!
Tom reminded me that, seeing we’re building a deck now, it would be nice to have the wiring kits ready? So, I had to stir my lazy bones and start building up the infused deck wiring bits.
What you see here are, what we call, power feed through boards being assembled on their assembly jig. These are mounted in the core of the deck and give a place for the wire to solder to for termination. And they give the threaded hole used to connect to these wires.
Here’s a two wire version for a navigation light feed through.
Another AC adapter part being built up. These are going along as a back burner project.
Thats about it for this week. Not a lot to see, but a lot got done.
